James R. Campbell
Sidney- James R. Campbell (Jim C.), of Sidney, Maine died on March 14, 2020 after a long, courageous battle with life.
Jim was born in Somerville, MA on December 4, 1935 to Virginia Hendricks and James R. Campbell Sr. (both deceased).
Jim was a professional musician and band leader for many years. He was also in the home improvement business for most of his adult life. He was an active member of A.A. since 1977. Through his own recovery, he was able to help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety. Jim enjoyed playing cards and his guitar.
He is survived by his loving sister Lillian M. Campbell of Nashua, NH, and his dear and loving life-long friends Clifford and Cheryl Knickle of Billerica, MA ; who never wavered in their love and comfort, Rick and Debbie Jones of West Gardiner who also were with him with their love and comfort right to the end, Jack Erving of South China, who was a close and loving friend, whom he cherished with all his heart, Bob Harvey of Augusta, who was one of his wonderful friends that he got to know over the many years, as well as his four-legged friend Mr. C.
