AUGUSTA – Robert W. Faulknham, 77, of Augusta, left this earth in Peace on February 25, 2013. He was born on January 8th, 1936.

Robert grew up in W. Gardiner, with older brother John, and just out of High School he was selling cars. In the 50’s he worked at Hazzard Shoe Co. in Augusta, where he met and married Martha J. Day in 1957, the love of his life. They closed in the late 60’s, so he then moved on to Commonwealth Shoe in Gardiner, followed by Etonic Shoe in Richmond. Retiring in the late 80’s. He still loved to work on and sell cars and go to lawn sales.

He is predeceased by his mother and father, his wife Martha, and brother John. Robert is survived by his daughter Diana M. Jaquith and husband John; step-brother James Schofield of N. Carolina; brother in law Mr. Carroll W. Grady of Farmingdale; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Augusta, on May 24th, 2013 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kennebec Valley Humane Society, 10 Pethaven Ln., Augusta, ME 04330. Condolences may be expressed at KincerFuneralHome.com
