Togus-  Alton H.(Hal) Barter III, son of Alton and Barbara Barter, brother of Dale Barter and his wife Brenda, passed away on October 15, 2022 at the medical center at Togus.

Hal served his country proudly in the US Marine Corp.   He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and ATV rideing , visiting his brother and sister-in law in northern Maine.

Alton is also survived by two nieces Oranda Barter, and Heather Clark and family, friends Brian Lamoreau, Scott Roy and family, Norm Ambrose and family, Diane Staples and his numerous hunting buddies who gave Hal the nickname of “Tracker”

There will be a graveside service at 1pm on Friday, October 21, 2022 at the Cotton Cemetery on Main St. in Richmond.
