Dresden- Steven M. Cherkis, 57, of Dresden, passed at his home on January 22, 2022

Steven was born in Chula Vista, California on December 3, 1964, the son of Allen M. and Marina A. (Stacey) Cherkis.

Throughout Steven’s life he was an avid reader and loved history and science.  He worked for himself and enjoyed doing yardwork and working on vehicles.  He was a member of the Salvation Army.

Steven was predeceased by his father.

He is survived by his wife Melinda Cherkis, his mother, his sons Allen B. Cherkis, and Andrew Cherkis, and his brothers Allen, Richard, John, and David.

There will be a graveside service in the Spring; to be announced.
