Daniel A. Trask

RICHMOND - Daniel A. Trask, 77, of Richmond died on November 20, 2015 at his home.  He was born on February 14, 1938.

Dan was also known as "The Fisherman of Thomaston."  He was the first inmate to run for Governor of the State of Maine from his jail cell in 1974.  

Daniel owned and operated several pet shops known as The American Pet Center.

He is predeceased by his mother, Margaret, his dad, Stacy, a brother, Donny, and his beloved son, Stacy.  

He is survived by his long time companion and friend Priscilla Trask of Richmond; his son Paul Pinkham and his fiance Diane Ellison of Richmond; his daughter Jenny Trask and her fiance Ben Tremain of Gardiner; his grandchildren Makayla, Victoria, Morgan, Ethan, Kimberly, Savanah, and Adam; his brother David Trask of Bath; and several neices and nephews.  

At Daniel's request there will be no services.
