She was born in Washington, D.C. on June 7, 1965 the daughter of Harry and Kay Pierce.  Beth graduated from Richmond High School and later attended Katherine Gibbs College in Boston.

BRUNSWICK  Shirley Hope Finamore, 92, of Cumberland Center passed away on January 26th, 2014 at Thornton Hall in Brunswick. 
 
She was born on a small farm in Mitchell, South Dakota on December 31, 1921.  The daughter of Mabel Southworth and Corvin Yahne, she graduated from Mitchell High School in 1939.

Augusta-Augusta-Sgt. Frederick Niles Larrabee, Sr., 83; of Augusta, passed away peacefully at home on January, 15, 2014.

He was born on October 29, 1930, in Augusta, Maine, the son of the late Daniel Larrabee and Mary Niles Larrabee Gilbert. He attended the Augusta School system and in 1950 he married the late Frances Margret Morgan and together they had five children and 49 years of marriage. In 1950 Fred joined the Marines and served as a Sergeant in the Korean War.. After his honorable discharge from the Marines, Fred and his wife Frances worked for a local veterinarian before he trained as a meat cutter for Sampson's supermarket in Greene, Maine. Finding his niche in meat cutting, he soon became the meat manager and eventually the store manager of Sampson's on Bangor Street in Augusta.  In 1960 Fred then became the proprietor of Augusta Meat & Seafood on North Belfast Avenue. In the mid 1970's he also became the proprietor of Stone &. Son's Smoke House on Haskell Street and in 1976 sold Augusta Meat & Seafood which is now known as the Augusta Seafood. In 1989 he went into a partnership and was the owner of the Fido's Meat Market and the Sandollar Restaurant in Hallowell, Maine. In 1992 he sold his half of the partnership and retired for the second timeRetirement of course did not suit him so he took a position working for West Gardiner Beef and remained working until the age of 80.

Suzanna ChristieRichmond- Suzanna L. Christie, 66, of Main St., passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014 at her residence with her family by her side.She was born on October 7, 1947 in Lewiston the daughter of Charles and Clarice   Sue grew up and attended school in Winthrop.Sue worked for Port City of Richmond as a teller for many years.

Sue enjoyed knitting, craft fairs and raising money for breast cancer through the Eagles Club.Sue was predeceased by her parents, sister Pamela Lanteigne and a nephew Scott Tainter.  She is survived by her husband of 15 years John Christie of Richmond, sister Sherry Stevens and significant other Barry Wright of Livermore Falls, brother Charles Irby of Augusta, sons Jim Wadleigh of Ct., George Wadleigh of Az., Dan Wadleigh of Co., 9 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
