Wiscasset-Priscilla Antoinette Fogg, 74, passed away on August 20, 2014. Priscilla was born in Wiscasset on September 11, 1939 the daughter of Warren W. and Helen S. (Bean) Dorr, also of Wiscasset. Priscilla graduated from Wiscasset High School in 1957 and attended Thayer College in Waterville where she earned her certification as a Lab Technician.
Gardiner – Winifred E. Reed 77, formerly of Bath, ME died Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born in Bath, ME on October 30, 1936 daughter of Frank J. Robshaw and Grace E. Brown (Simmons). She graduated from Waldoboro High School in 1955. She worked as a nanny, housekeeper, factory worker and a housewife. She lived at the Washington House for 24 years. In addition to organizing many tenant potlucks, coffee & doughnut breakfasts, picnics and holiday events, she helped form and create the buildings first Residential Advisory Committee and served as the committee's first chairperson.
On November 13, 1976 she married Earl D. Reed and they resided in Wiscasset until moving to Bath in 1990.
Survivors include two sons, David K. West of Richmond, Daniel C. Fowle and companion Sheena Wright of Gardiner, two daughters, Shelley E. Merrill of Richmond, Gracie E. Wood and husband Bill Wood of Fort Carson, Colorado, step-daughter Pam Teal of Rockand, three brothers, Allen Craney of Rockport, Raymond Simmons and his wife Carol of Damariscotta, Ira Simmons and his wife Kristine of China, two sisters, Margaret Brown and her husband Randall of Waldoboro, Jenie Pease of Appleton, a sister-in-law Dottie Craney of Warren, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father Frank J. Robshaw, mother Grace E. Brown (Simmons), son Joseph West, step-son Nick West, husband Earl D. Reed, brother Hugh Craney, brother-in-law Franz Pease.

George Fogg Brown Richmond-George F. Brown, 73, died on Aug. 11, 2014 at the Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn with his wife by his side. George was born on August 22, 1940 in Mexico the son of Alfred and Nona Brown. He grew up in Richmond and was a graduate of Richmond High School. George was the perfect example of someone who lived the Great American Dream. At the tender age of 19 after serving his nation in the National Guard, he began his career at the Etonic Shoe Company in Richmond as night watchman, not exactly the perfect job. As a result of hard work, determination and a need to create a better life for him and his family, he worked his way up through the corporate structure of the company to become foreman of various rooms within the factory. He eventually become plant manager at Etonic, the leading manufacturer of high quality golf shoes in the world. After leaving Etonic, he finished his career in the manufacturing sector as Plant Manager of the Allen Edmonds Shoe Factory in Auburn, another producer of high quality shoes made in America. He proved that hard work and determination can lead to success and a better life style. George was predeceased by his parents, sisters Norma, Shirley, Madge, Madelyn and Sylvia, brothers Donald, Austin and Clyde. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Nancy of Richmond, children Mark and wife Shelby of Minot, N.D., Kevin and wife Diana of Chester Springs, PA., Julie and husband Charles of West Gardiner, step children Holly Wilkinson and husband Bill of Dresden, Brett Dorr and fiancée Rachel of Georgia, grandchildren Jason Brown and wife Sara, Christopher Brown, Nicole and Logan Hallett, step grandchildren Craig and Amy Wilkinson, Megan, Alex, Jessica Dorr, great grandson Ben, sister Arlene Geddes of Brunswick, brothers Darryl and wife Penny of Livermore Falls, Gerald and wife Ruth of Richmond, Neal and wife Priscilla of Bowdoinham, Charles of Whitefield, Alton of Randolph, sister in-law Stella Brown of Pittston and Joanne Brown of South Gardiner. There will be no services per George's request. The family would like to thank the staff of Maine General Hospital, Dr. Gene Cheng, and especially the Androscoggin Home Health Care and Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion.
