Bruce E. Dickinson

Bruce

Richmond-Bruce Earl Dickinson, 67, of Front St. left us on Monday September 8, 2014 with the burden of an incurable disease weighing heavily upon him. He loved his family too much to lead them through a journey he himself was not wanting to take. Please family, loved ones and friends (you know who are) know that Bruce left this world in love, peace, and hoping you remember the man he was, Bruce the barber, the friend, the husband, the father, the brother and grandfather.

He was born on Dec. 27, 1946 in Gardiner the son of Earl and Dorothy Preble Dickinson. Bruce graduated from Richmond High School and later the University of Maine.
He is survived by his brother Rex Dickinson of Richmond, his most amazing and loving daughter and son-law, Tracy and Dana Tuttle of Richmond, his 2 grandchildren that were the love of his life, who he loved unconditionally, Nicole of Telluride, Co., and Wade of Richmond. And then there is Yvette, a wife that feels blessed to have had such a kind and wonderful husband for 45 years of Richmond.

Bruce had such a large network of people in his life that meant so much to him. His confidant and loving sister-law Tammy and husband Jim, his special aunts Marjorie, Rita and Claudia, special cousin Keith who he shared many wonderful adventures.

All his "hugging" cousins that were so important to him.

Bruce's life in Richmond and his barbershop business allowed so many people into his life were so important to him.

There is usually that "one" special person that comes into your life who means so much they are always there for you, accept you for who you are no questions asked, that friend is Matt Brann.
Bruce was so grateful for his friendship.

Bruce had many interests, he loved the outdoors, being on the river and traveling as long as it was no further than Bowdoinham.

An informal gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, September 13th from 4 to 7pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, Bruce would be delighted for donations to be made to Friends of Merrymeeting Bay.

Arrangements are under the care of Kincer Funeral Home 130 Pleasant St. Richmond, Me 04357
