James Edward McKay - New Gloucester Maine
NEW GLOUCESTER - James McKay,greatly loved father, grandfather and friend, 94 years old, died December 19, 2014 at the Veterans Hospice Center in Augusta surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 23, 1919 in Bangor, son of the late Augustine and Beatrice McKay. James was a foster child and was raised in Auburn by the Bergeron family. He attended the Hardscrabble school in Auburn.
Died Nov. 25, 2014. There will not be any services at this time.
Lillian M. Emmons, 94, of Lincoln St., passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in Bath, Maine.
Lillian was born October 2, 1920 in Augusta, Maine to Harry A. Freeman Sr., and Lillian A. (Small) Freeman.
She attended Augusta schools and graduated from Cony High School in 1938. On May 16, 1942 Lillian married William E. Emmons of Richmond in Brunswick, Maine.
Lillian greatly enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her six children and a granddaughter.
Some of her favorite activities included camping, snowmobiling, knitting, Bingo, playing cards, and family gatherings. After retirement she and Bill enjoyed their trips to South Carolina in their motorhome.
She was predeceased by her husband, William E. Emmons Sr. in 2003, a son, William E. Emmons Jr. in 1997, and a brother, Herbert W. Freeman in 1982.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol Carver of Richmond; her sons, Ronald Emmons Sr. and his wife Martha of Richmond, Robert Emmons Sr. and his significant other Andrea Roberts of Augusta, Gary Emmons Sr. and his wife Sandy of Richmond, Richard Emmons Sr. and his wife Sally of Abbot; her brothers, Harry Freeman Jr. of Farmingdale, and Richard Freeman Sr. of Augusta; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to Dr. Linda Hermans, MD for her wonderful care for their mother over many years.
Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 10 to 11am at Kincer Funeral Home, 130 Pleasant St. in Richmond. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11am, with a committal service following at Richmond Cemetery.
AUGUSTA-Raymond Leo Moore, 71, of Richmond passed away on November 14th, 2014 in his wife of 50 years’ loving arms, and surrounded by his loving family at the Maine Veterans’ Home in Augusta, ME.He was born in Lewiston, Maine on Oct. 5th, 1943 to parents Paul and Anita Moore.Ray was employed at Bath Iron Works for 17 years as an insulator. He enjoyed spending his spare time at the race track, and bear hunting with his sons.He is survived by his lovely wife Betty of Richmond; his children: Greg of Dresden, Jeff of Marion, Debbie of Richmond, Kim of Florida, and Dianna of Richmond; his siblings, Jean, Theresa, Rose, Ann, Paul, Donald, and George; 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
At the request of Ray’s family there will be no visitation, and services will be held privately.
LEWISTON – The Pushard and Churchill families suffered a terrible loss with the passing of Ann P. Churchill on Veterans Day. What she meant to us was immeasurable. Ann was born in Richmond, Maine on January 9, 1927, the daughter of George H. Gilbert and Mildred P. (Crowell) Gilbert. Ann was educated in the Richmond schools excelling in sports, and was the Captain of the Richmond High School basketball team. She graduated from Bliss College in 1945, and in July of that year started working as a medical secretary for the Veterans Administration at Togus, Maine, in the Personnel office, General Medical Hospital, and Outpatient and Orthopedic Departments. In 1952 she married M.W. George E. Pushard, Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Maine Masons, and together they travelled extensively. Mr. Pushard died in 1982.Her volunteer work in the Lewiston area included the executive committee of the Parent-Teacher Association at the schools, and President of the Lewiston High Band Boosters. Ann also modeled for local clothing stores.

Randolph-Elizabeth Schade, died November 10, 2014. No services will be held at this time.
Graveside service will take place Friday, November 14th at 1pm at Richmond Cemetery, Richmond.
